The death has occurred of Margaret (Maggie) Holden (née Foley), Convent View, Mooncoin, Co. Kilkenny, who died on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, peacefully in the tender care of her loving family and all the staff at University Hospital Waterford. Predeceased by her husband Richard (Dick), parents, sisters Bridget and Mai and brother Tommy. Maggie will be sadly missed by her daughter Vanessa, sons Declan, Vincent and Darren, daughters-in-law Elizabeth and Michelle, grandchildren Carrie, Graham, Adam, Shauna, Danielle, Josh, Ava, Sophie, Chelsea and Cian, her great grandson Aaron, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Maggie will be reposing in Power's Funeral Home, Ferrybank on Wednesday, October 29, from 5pm followed by removal at 6.30pm to The Church of the Assumption, Mooncoin, Maggie's Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday, October 30, at 11am, after which Maggie will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. The death has occurred of Joan Pollock (née Greer), Kilfera Court, Kilkenny, and formerly of Skreen, Co. Sligo.Joan passed away on October 27, 2025, peacefully in the care of St. Luke's Hospital Critical Care Unit, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents John and Isa Greer. Dearly loved and always remembered by her heartbroken husband Matt, children Lisa and Colin, son-in-law David and daughter-in-law Amy. Adored by her grandchildren Emily, Matthew, Jay, Adam, Tom and Rowan. Joan will be sadly missed by her sister Valerie and her brother Ronald, sister-in-law Mabel, brother-in-law Francois, nieces, nephew, relatives, neighbours and a very large circle of friends.
Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, October 29, at 3pm in St. John's Church of Ireland, John Street, Kilkenny. (R95AW74) Prayers and an opportunity to sympathise in Sligo will be at Calry Church, The Mall, Sligo on Thursday, October 30, at 1.30pm. Burial will follow afterwards at Sligo Cemetery. The death has occurred of Leonid Yurko, Rosewood, Johnswell Road, Kilkenny City, suddenly at his residence, on October 26, 2025. Predeceased by his wife Natalya. Deeply regretted by his loving daughter Iryna and son-in-law Tomas. Leonid will be missed by his grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Tommy Cuddihy, Cashel Avenue, Cashel Downs, Kilkenny and formerly of Green Street, Callan, Co. Kilkenny, who died on Friday, October 24, 2025, following an accident. Pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Josephine (Babe) Cuddihy. He will be deeply missed and his memories kept alive by his beloved wife Kay (née O’Brien), his loving children Simon, Tom and Ciara and their partners. Cherished by his sister Joan and his brothers Joe, Martin, Pa and Seamus and their families. Sadly missed by Kay’s brothers, Simon, John, Oliver and Michael and their families. He will always be remembered by his many friends and work colleagues.

She is pre-deceased by her husband Stephen and sister Mary.
