Ian Coulter

The death has occurred of Ian Coulter, Rose Hill Court, Kilkenny, and formerly of Riverstown, Birr, Co. Offaly. Ian passed away on November 22, 2025, peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Daphne and much loved father of Rian, Ailbhe and the late Eavan. Ian will be dearly missed by his family, son-in-law Ross, brother Derek and his wife Elizabeth, nieces Lisa and Grace and their husbands Barry and David, his extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Tuesday, November 25, from 4pm with removal at 7pm to St. Canice's Cathedral for Evening Prayer Service at 7.30pm. Funeral Service on Wednesday afternoon at 2pm. Interment afterwards in St. Kieran's Cemetery. The Funeral Service will be live streamed here FUNERAL SERVICE

Brigid Wall (née Murphy)

The death has occurred of Brigid Wall (née Murphy), Rathfarnham, Dublin / Kilkenny. Peacefully at Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross. Predeceased by her beloved husband Patrick (Gerry) Wall and her brother Jimmy Murphy. Forever loved and missed by her daughter Colette and her twin sister Alice, her family and friends. Brigid was formerly from Killamery, Co. Kilkenny.

Brigid will repose at Fanagan's Funeral Home, Dundrum on Wednesday, November 26, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham at 10am on Thursday, November 27, followed by burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Eamonn (Ned) Murphy

The death has occurred of Eamonn (Ned) Murphy, Ballynooney, Mullinavat, Kilkenny. Ned passed away on Sunday following a tragic road accident. Predeceased by his parents Martin and Peggy Murphy. Beloved husband of Vitalija and loving daddy to Tommy. Ned will be dearly missed by his heartbroken family, brother James, sister Ann Marie, sisters-in-law Trish and Audra, brother-in-law Tommy, nieces Ella, Ciara and Katie, nephews Senan, Oisin and Martin, mother-in-law Virginija and father-in-law Petras, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing on Tuesday at Donnacha Doyle & Son Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow from 4pm until 7pm. Arriving on Wednesday at St. Beacon’s Church Mullinavat (via his residence) for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Dick (Richard) Holohan

The death has occurred of Dick (Richard) Holohan, The Square, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny, on November 23, 2025. Following a short illness at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Pre-deceased by his wife Joan, parents Richard and Helena, brothers Oliver, Eddie, Pat and sister Helena. Dick will be sadly missed by his son Martin, daughters Paula and Anne, sisters Mary and Joan, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Geraldine. Fondly remembered by his loving grandchildren Leah, Megan, Richard, Jamie, Ian, Katie and his three great grandchildren Joan, Nora and Rory, nieces and nephews, and his wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlecomer on Tuesday, November 25, from 4pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 8pm. Funeral Prayers on Wednesday at 10am followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Castlecomer for Requiem Mass at 11am. Shervin Hirbod

The death has occurred of Shervin Hirbod, 54 Pennefeather Green, Hebron Road, Kilkenny City and formerly of Iran, peacefully, on November 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving and devoted family at University Hospital, Waterford. Predeceased by his father Manouchehr Hirbod. Shervin will be deeply missed by his heart broken wife Alison (née Brennan) daughter Taylor-Rea and sons Nathan-John and Darragh and his mother Pervaneh Rahmani. Sadly missed by his brother and sisters, parents-in-law Bernadette and John Brennan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends in Kilkenny, Iran and abroad.

Shervin will repose at his residence 54 Pennefeather Green, Hebron Road (R95 T1HF) on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 5pm to 7pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6.30pm. Funeral Service on Wednesday (26th) in St. John’s Church, Dublin Road, Kilkenny at 11.15am followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium (Garden Chapel) Harold’s Cross Road, Dublin (D6W HY98) at 2.15pm.
