The death has occurred of Peter Allen, Sweetbriar Lawn, Tramore, Waterford / Kilmacow, Kilkenny, late of Mullinabro, Ferrybank, Waterford, ex Waterford Crystal, on November 24, 2025. Peter passed peacefully surrounded by his family and loved ones at Mooncoin Residential Centre. Predeceased by his beloved wife Josephine. Peter will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons Adrian and Trevor, his partner Elinor, his daughter-in-law Roisin, his brother John and sisters Joan and Ann, Elinor’s daughters, Clodagh, Orla and sons Don and Ronan and her daughter-in-law Maeve, his granddaughters Sarah, Aoife, Saoirse, Molly, Ashley and Daniel, grandsons Tadhg, Daniel A, Daniel O B, James and Cian, great-grandchildren Ellie, Sophie and Wesley, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of dear friends.
Reposing in Tom Hennessy's Funeral Home, 45A Johnstown, Waterford (X91FW4A), on Wednesday, November 26, from 4pm to 6pm followed by removal to St. Senan's Church, Kilmacow for reception into the Church at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, November 27, at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Mass will be live streamed by following the link below from 11am. https://churchcamlive.ie/kilmacow
The death has occurred of Mary Dowling (née Bergin), Knocknoo, Ballyfoyle, Co. Kilkenny, and formerly of Ballymeelish, Ballybrophy, Co. Laois. Mary passed away on November 24, 2025, peacefully, at Aut Even Hospital, after a short illness. Beloved wife of the late Billy and much loved mother of Ann Marie and Thomas. Mary will be dearly missed by her loving family, sister Margaret, daughter-in-law Claire, grandchildren Aaron, Katie and Sophie, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Mary is predeceased by her parents William and Mary and brothers Dan and Mick.
Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Wednesday, November 26, from 4pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am in St. Joseph's Church, Ballyfoyle. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please.
The death has occurred of Kay Kavanagh (née Duffy), late of Broguemakers Hill, Kilkenny. Kay passed away on November 22, 2025, peacefully in the wonderful care of Sutherland Hospital (Sydney, Australia) surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her mother Alice (Peachy), father Patrick (Dicky) and brother Joe. Kay will be deeply missed by her loving husband Martin, her daughters Rowena and Aoife, her sons Nigel and Cathal, her sisters and brothers, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, grandchildren, cousins, and her many friends.
Kay’s Funeral service will take place in Woronora Cemetery - West Chapel, Sydney, on Thursday, November 27, at 10:30am (Sydney time). Following the service, we will gather for a wake to continue sharing stories, comfort, and support at Cronulla RSL at 12pm. For family and friends in Ireland and abroad who cannot attend, the service will be live streamed on Wednesday 26 November at 11:30pm Irish time.
