The death has occurred of Juliana Dramba, The Fairways, Kilkenny, and formerly of Botosani, Romania. Juliana passed away on February 22, 2026, peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved wife of Constantin and much loved mother of Alex and Maya. Juliana will be dearly missed by her loving family, sisters Doina, Mihaela and Mariana, brother Dumitru, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Wednesday, February 25, from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Service on Thursday afternoon at 1pm in St. John's Church, Dublin Road, Kilkenny. (R95XH7K). Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran's Cemetery. The death has occurred of Patrick Joseph (Joe) Foley, 55 Larchfield, Kilkenny, and formerly of Flagmount, Co. Kilkenny. Joe passed away on February 23, 2026, peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved husband of Úna and loving stepfather of Valerie, Paul and Mark. Joe will be dearly missed by his family, brother Eugene and his wife Eileen, their children Christopher and Rita, son-in-law David O'Reilly, daughters-in-law Vicky Thornton and Wendy Thornton, grandchildren Kelsey, Shannon, Brannigan, Brian, Nicole (all USA), Raphael, Michaela, Elise and Eoin, great grandchildren Elora Lillie, Reese, Torin, Eden and Cillian, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Requiem Mass for Joe will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 25, at 12 noon in St. Joseph's Church, Foulkstown. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private and family flowers only please.
The death has occurred of Thomas Foley, Donaguile, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny, and formerly of Cahersiveen, Co. Kerry. Thomas passed away peacefully at Kilkenny Care Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Feburary 21, 2026. Pre-deceased by his wife Helen. Sadly missed by his daughters Bridgie, Rachel, Helen, Antoinette and Anne-Marie, sons Tomboy, John and Martin, siblings, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and relatives.
Reposing at Coady's Funeral Home, Castlecomer (R95 AK38) on Tuesday, February 24, from 5pm, with Funeral Prayers and Rosary at 6:30pm, followed by Removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Castlecomer. Tom's Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:30am. The Funeral Mass can be viewed HERE Tom will be laid to rest thereafter in St. Corbans Cemetery, Naas, Co. Kildare
