The death has occurred of Johnny Byrne, Clarabricken, Clifden, Clara, Co. Kilkenny. Johnny passed away peacefully on 3rd March 2026, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Lukes Hospital. Beloved husband of Maria (Née Buckley) and loving father to Liam, John, Stephen, Maria, Gerry and Tony. Johnny will be sadly missed by his loving family, his brothers Jimmy and Patsy, sister Hannah, daughters-in-law Kerry, Úna, Therese and Ciara, son-in-law Arno, sister-in-law Betty, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Johnny is predeceased by his parents William and Ellen and his sisters Catherine, Breda, Statia and Mary.

The death has occurred of Clive Boote, Blanchvilles Park, Clifden, Kilkenny, late of Birkenhead, Liverpool, England. Clive passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, following a long illness bravely borne, in the arms of his loving family. Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Charlotte, sons Christopher and James, daughters Charlotte (Lottie) and Ashley. Grandchildren Jamie and Marinus, brother Brian, daughter in-law Kim, sisters in-law, brothers in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, his work colleagues in Germany and friends. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all his carers who made it possible for Clive to be cared for at home. We are forever grateful. Thank you also to Dr John Brennan, public health nurse and the team at Gowran Medical Centre. Thank you to the palliative care team and a special mention to Occupational Therapist Deirdre.
Cremation Service at Mount Jerome Crematorium on Friday, March 6, at 1:30pm. House private Friday morning please.
The death has occurred of Martin Fitzpatrick, Foulkscourt, Rathdowney Road, Johnstown and formerly Donoughmore, Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny, March 4, 2026, peacefully in the loving care of nurses and staff at Sacred Heart nursing home Crosspatrick in the presence of his family. Predeceased by his parents Martin and Maura Fitzpatrick. Deeply regretted by his brothers John, Paddy and Joe, sisters Nuala and Patricia, nieces, nephew, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at Doyle's Funeral Home, Urlingford on Friday, March 6, from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Kieran's Church, Johnstown arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am.
