The death has occurred of Maureen Duggan (née Doyle), Grannagh, Kilmacow, Co. Kilkenny. Late of Duggan Coaches and The Cosy Thatch Pub Kilmeaden, who died on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, aged 86 years. Maureen passed away peacefully in the tender care of her loving family and all the staff in The South East Palliative Care Centre, Oak Ward, University Hospital Waterford, predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary. Maureen will be sadly missed by her loving husband Pat, daughter Evelyn, sons Robert and Alan, daughters-in-law Rose and Justina, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters Kathleen (Kennedy), Joanie (O'Meara) and Lally (Kiely), brother Johnny, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Maureen will be reposing in Power's Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Friday, April 3, from 5.30pm until 7.30pm, Maureen's removal will take place on Saturday, April 4, to St. Senan's Church, Kilmacow, arriving for Funeral Liturgy at 11am, after which Maureen will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. The death has occurred of Catherine (Kay) O’Neill, Old Road, High Street, Graignamanagh, Co. Kilkenny, on April 1, 2026. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons Chris and Diarmuid, her sister Margaret, daughters-in-law Claire and Michelle, grandchildren Frankie, Ollie, Sonny, and Mikey, brother-in-law Eamonn, nephew John and niece Eadaoin, cousins Mary and Paddy, and all her relatives, neighbours, and friends.
Reposing in Walsh's Funeral Home, Graignamanagh (Eircode R95D853) from 2pm on Thursday, April 2, concluding at 7pm. Removal on Good Friday at 10.40am to arrive at Duiske Abbey for Funeral Service at 11am, followed by burial in Calvary cemetery. House private please.
The death has occurred of Derek Lillystone, Lower Killeen, Inistioge, Co. Kilkenny on March 31, 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. The death has occurred of Neddy Neary, St. Mary's Avenue, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny, on March 30, 2026, peacefully at University Hospital Waterford in the presence of his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Betty (née Forrestall), son-in-law Alan Kenny, his parents Michael and Ellen, sister Mary and brother Patsy. The death has occurred of Esther Walsh (née Dunne), Golf Links View, Granges Road and late of Kilcreene, Kilkenny, on March, 2026 (peacefully) at Kilkenny Care Centre. Beloved wife of the late Michael and much loved mother of Christine, John and Michael.
