Alison Arngrim, who played Nellie Olsson in the TV series Little House On The Prairie, has a major Kilkenny connection.
While researching her roots Alison discovered that her great-great-grandfather came from Tullaroan and that her great-great-grandaunt is interred in Tullaroan Cemetery.

Having travelled to Tullaroan to visit the cemetery recently, there was a big surprise waiting for Alison when she paid a visit to Seanie’s Bar - local farmer and former Kilkenny hurling All-Star Liam Keoghan, who is Alison’s fourth cousin.
Alison was overjoyed to meet her cousin, with the two staying to chat for some time.
