The north Kilkenny town of Castlecomer will shine brightly this Christmas from Friday, December 6 as the annual Festival of Light begins at 6.45pm with lively music by the Rhythm Riot Band followed by the Community School Choir.
Santa is due to arrive at 7.40pm.

Special guest Enya Cox Dempsey has the honour of turning on the lights and will no doubt entertain with a section of her songs.
