Local chef Edward Hayden
Celebrity chef and Graignamanagh native Edward Hayden has taken to social media to reflect on another year of ups and downs following his birthday celebrations earlier this week.
The Kilkenny chef, who regularly appears on Virgin Media's Ireland AM also thanked friends, both old and new for their support over the last year.
"Yesterday marked the clock having completed another year and I have so much to be thankful for. It's been a year that has thrown a number of challenges and disappointments of varying kinds, matched and surpassed by great bounties," the local man posted.

"Old friendships and new friendships alike have brought me great joy and certainly have brought great richness to my life as have an abundance of great experiences and opportunities," he added.
"Hopefully the year ahead will be filled with family, friendship, work, media, food, fun, new experiences and plenty of drama (only the onstage type!)."
