St Patrick's Day in Goresbridge: All you need to know about St Patrick's Day festivities locally

Goresbridge is one of five towns in the county holding a St Patrick's Day parade on Tuesday, March 17 - and it's always up there with the best of them!

The Goresbridge parade is one of the later ones, starting at 3.30pm. All floats will gather at 2pm in the Tirlan yard.

There will be music and carnival on the street in the afternoon before proceedings get under way. The village of Goresbridge is painted green, white and orange in anticipation of a great day out. In a boost for specatators and participants, no rain is currently forecast tomorrow afternoon.

Last year's parade saw hundreds gather from the village and beyond; it was an unforgettable event for both children and adults alike.
