Kilkenny's Paddy Deegan is expected to return for 2025
Due to the Status Orange' snow-ice warning issued by Met Eireann earlier today (Friday), Sunday's senior hurling challenge match between Kilkenny and Dublin has been cancelled.
Met Éireann are warning that 'significant snowfall accumulations' are expected across counties; Kilkenny, Carlow, Wicklow, Clare, Limerick and Tipperary on Saturday and Sunday.

Weather permitting, Kilkenny's next challenge match will be played in Young Ireland's GAA grounds in Gowran on Saturday, January 11 against Waterford, before the series concludes in the Faithful Fields on Saturday, January 18 with a clash against Offaly.
