There was doubles delight for Andrew Brennan (Talbots Inch) and Sean Morrissey (O'Loughlin Gaels) on Sunday, as the Kilkenny duo won the 40x20 All-Ireland Minor Doubles Final against Galway opponents in the National Handball Centre in Croke Park.
The local players showed great steel and determination to fight back and win the first game 21-20.
Andrew and Sean built up a steady lead in the second game but credit to the Galway men they fought back and made it a battle to the finish with the lads going back in with two hands at 19-18 to win 21-18 after two superb rallies.

"Andrew was unlucky to lose out in the Under 16 All Ireland Singles Final last year but went home, learned from it and put in a huge effort to get back to Croke Park again this year at minor level and formed a very formidable partnership with Sean to bring back another minor title back to Talbots Inch and Kilkenny," the Talbots Inch club posted to social media.
