The Kilkenny senior hurling panel has been hit with another injury blow following reports that full-forward Marty Murphy has picked up a hamstring injury.

The Tullogher Rosbercon clubman is a panelist on the Kilkenny panel after impressing with the U20 team who reached this year's All-Ireland Final before ultimately losing to Tipperary in UPMC Nowlan Park.

Kilkenny boss Derek Lyng has had a number of injuries to contend with this season with Shane Murphy, David Blanchfield and Eoin Cody the latest doubts ahead of the All-Ireland semi-final.
