FLASHBACK: Kilkenny All-Ireland heroes reunite for special anniversary

As Kilkenny and Tipperary prepare to renew their age-old rivalry in an All-Ireland semi-final this weekend, local supporters have been looking back on the highs and lows of the fixture over recent days.

From Liam Sheedy masterminding the end of Kilkenny's 'Drive for Five' in 2010, to the Cats winning a thrilling qualifier against 'Tipp in Nowlan Park three years later, there has been some enthralling run-ins...

One such run was the 2014 final, a date marked by some of the players involved.

Some of the Kilkenny All-Ireland winning panel from 2014 reunited for a night of nostalgia in the Marble City at the end of last year, with plenty of laughs and fond memories shared throughout the night. (See Picture Below)

The Cats faced near-rivals Tipperary in the decider, with the final forced to a replay after a spine-tingling draw (Kilkenny 3-22 Tipperary 1-28).

A late John O'Dwyer free look set to secure the Premier County's first Liam MacCarthy title since 2010, but in the nail biting dying minutes, the free was signalled wide by Hawk Eye sending the match to a replay.

In the subsequent replay, the Noresiders turned on the style to prevail on a scoreline of 2-17 to 2-14 in what was Brian Cody's tenth All-Ireland winning season as manager.
