Eight-time All-Ireland winner with Kilkenny, Michael Fennelly has informed the county board that he will step away from his role as Performance Lead with the Na Cait Óga on the conclusion of his contract later this year.
The Shamrocks Ballyhale man cited personal commitments as the reason for his departure.
Since its inception over a year ago, the academy has set out to provide a pathway for emerging young talent within the county starting at under-14 level.

The vision of Na Cait Óga is to generate a healthy and broad cohort of players, providing them with an opportunity to advance in all aspects of their game.
