Former Kilkenny inter-county team-mates Eoin Larkin, Jackie Tyrrell and JJ Delaney reunited over the weekend as the trio fought it out in the quarter-finals of the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Junior B Hurling Championship.
Larkin and Tyrrell (Village) left the happier as JJ's Fenians team fell to a 2-26 to 3-7 loss in Pairc Sheamuis Stiophain. Tyrrell and Delaney retired with an eye catching nine All-Ireland medals, while Larkin finished his time in black and amber with eight Celtic Cross medals in his back pocket.

Despite the result, the Kilkenny greats took time out to catch up and reminisce about their decorated inter-county careers and chew the fat over the forthcoming club championships.
This weekend the Village duo will be firmly focused on getting over the winning line against St Martin's as they take up their new roles as manager and selector of their beloved club respectively.
Meanwhile, due to work commitments, JJ enjoys most of the year in his newly found home of Miami.
