Last Thursday, St. Patrick's De La Salle school in Kilkenny city unveiled a new Brian Cody feature wall in honour of Brian’s retirement as Kilkenny senior hurling manager.
"As a past principal of our school, Brian has had an extremely positive influence on all of our pupils over the years," a statement from the school reads.
"He is a wonderful role model, and shows us the importance of respect, hard work and dedication! The very best of luck to Brian in his retirement."
The school also thanked Paul Murphy (@paulmurphypainting) who created the art and school caretaker Shane who brought the vision to life!
