Kilkenny hurling legend Brian Cody has officially opened Kilkenny’s newest family owned independent business, Tomás Keogh Pharmacy.
Located at Newpark Shopping Centre just outside the city, the family pharmacy is owned and run by Kilkenny native, Tomás Keogh.
A James Stephen’s club man with over 12 years experience working in and around Kilkenny, Tomás embarked on opening his first pharmacy late last year with his wife Katriona, an Occupational Therapist working in disability services, originally from Tyrone. The support has been incredible for the new business.
“We opened just before Christmas, and the support locally has been huge. We are delighted to be located in Newpark Shopping Centre. It’s a busy spot, and there’s plenty of free parking just outside. Really honoured to have Brian on board to officially open the doors. He’s been an incredible influence to me in my hurling career from a young age,” said Mr Keogh.
The pharmacy offers free consultations six days a week.
“I’m always on hand to offer one to one advice if anyone would like to call in,” said Mr Keogh.
The pharmacy opens 6 days a week and there is also ample free parking just outside the front door.
