The last day of food service at Higgs Field Restaurant on Kieran Street in Kilkenny City took place on Sunday (August 27).
Despite being closed for now, the vegetarian, vegan and gluten free restaurant is eager to keep customers aware of future re-opening plans.
"We are immensely grateful for your support and patronage of Higgs Field, and we'll be sure to keep you update on future re-opening plans," a statement reads.
"We've been delighted by your response and enthusiasm for local, sustainable, farm-to-table vegetarian dining here in Kilkenny.
"Please follow us on social media for updates on future re-opening plans and drop us a line to say hello or to enquire about private catering or pop-up collaborations."
