Man arrested over damage to parking meters
A man has been arrested and interviewed in relation to a recent spate of break ins to parking meters around the city. Meters in Michael Street, St Canice's carpark and the Black Abbey car park were all damaged earlier this month.
The suspect was subsequently charged and is due to appear before Kilkenny District Court.
