Gardaí are investigating a burglary at Rahard, Mullinavat over the weekend where an 80-year-old farmer disturbed two men who were acting suspiciously in his yard.
The owner of the property was out for a morning walk and returned home to find the two males acting suspiciously in his yard.They immediately fled the scene and were travelling in a white van.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Mullinavat area between 11.45am and 12.15pm on Sunday is asked to contact Thomastown gardaí on (056) 7754150.
