With the New Year underway there is a surge in interest in fitness and what better way to gently start than to participate in the Operation Transformation walks which will kick off around the city and county on January 12.
The walks are organised by the Kilkenny Recreation and Sports Partnership and will take place in Kilkenny City (Castle Park), Castlecomer Discovery Park, Conahy (Conahy Shamrocks GAA Ground) and Windgap (meet at the village carpark).
All the walks are guided and start at 11am and are four to five kilometres in distance. Partcipants can go at their own pace and all are welcome to join.
