A collection of aid for people in Ukraine was gathered by the Kilkenny Union of Parishes, over recent weeks. Among the items donated were toiletries and medical supplies, nappies and formula milk, also warm winter clothing.

On the first anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine the St Canice's cathedral was lit in blue and yellow in solidarity with Ukraine.
