Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that for the St Patrick’s Festival, there will be temporary road closures in place around Kilkenny City today (Monday) from 9am to 9pm.
The parade will begin at 1.30pm and begins on John Street and proceeds over John’s Bridge taking a right on to Bateman Quay, proceeding left up High Street, continuing onto The Parade and finishing on The Castle Road.

For the duration of the closures a temporary Taxi Rank will be set up on Patrick Street and Temporary Bus parking will be available in the Abbey Quarter off St Francis Bridge.
