Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that Stephens Street in Kilkenny City, will be closed from its junction with Kickham Street to its junction with Gaol Road from 9am to 6pm today (Tuesday) April 15 and Wednesday, April 16.

This is to facilitate road resurfacing works and diversions will be signposted.
Meanwhile, there will be a temporary stop and go traffic management system at the junction of Horse Barrack Lane and Irishtown until Friday, April 18 from 6pm to 12 midnight.

Pedestrian access will be maintained where possible and the footpath will be reopened during normal business hours.
