A local traffic warden and garda were left stunned earlier this week as a driver of van passed within 60cms of the pair while tapping away on his phone. He then parked and proceeded to deny the offence.
"When you're this caught, you're caught," Kilkenny gardaí posted to social media.

"Fcpn issued. Separately another more forthcoming motorist was detected in early morning school traffic," the garda post added.
