Kilkenny Veterans honoured at memorial garden in the city

The Veterans Association of Kilkenny were honoured to be involved in the placing of two buddy benches at the memorial garden at the Closh on the Gaol Road in Kilkenny City earlier this week.

Many Military veterans live in Kilkenny and the project allows Military Veterans to enhance a public space and encourage us all to sit and chat.

"Thanks to Cllr Dollard, Jack Fahy (Irish Prison Service) and Lt Col Robert Kearney, Pat Boyd (Keep Kilkenny Beautiful) and Donal Croghan for joining us in making it happen," a spokesperson said.
