Aikens Promotions has shared a clip of a 'special delivery' being transported to UPMC Nowlan Park in Kilkenny, sparking speculation that a major concert is set to take place at the venue next summer
Rumours abound of a major concert set to rock UPMC Nowlan Park next summer.
It is understood the high-profile international act, which will be huge draw for Kilkenny City, will be confirmed this week - possibly as early as tomorrow (Thursday) morning.
Several local hotels are already reporting a surge in advance bookings for a rumoured June date.
Aikens Promotions, which promotes and books shows for an array of major venues in Ireland, has shared a clip of a ‘special delivery’ being transported to a series of stadiums. Among them is none other than Kilkenny’s UPMC Nowlan Park.
A box marked ‘special delivery’ is shown being wheeled into the local stadium. That County Board is among those who have shared the post.
Meanwhile, separately, online country music magazine Holler is speculating that Garth Brooks may be lining up a tour of Ireland in 2027.
The industry publication notes that one of Aiken’s teaser posts is an Instagram collaboration that includes Downtown Country, speculating that the headliner that's about to be unveiled ‘is surely a country artist’.
