Businesses in Kilkenny are been warned to be extra vigilant after the detection of a number of counterfeit notes in the city in recent days.
Gardaí are warning retailers to exercise caution and be vigilant over the coming weeks. To date the counterfeit notes used have been a €50 denomination.
