Kilkenny man, Paddy Buggy, Slieverue former president of the GAA passes away

FORMER president of the GAA, Paddy Buggy, Slieverue has passed away. The 84 year old won a senior All Ireland medal with Kilkenny in 1957 and also served as chairman of Kilkenny GAA County Board. His remains will repose at Power’s Funeral Home, Ferrybank tomorrow, Friday, from 2pm with removal at 7pm to the Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 2pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
