BREAKING: There's a new face for South Kilkenny as final three seats filled in Piltown LEA

The results of the eight count are in and three councillors have been elected

The three candidates were all elected following on Count 9

Three candidates have just been elected in South Kilkenny, meaning all five seats have now been filled for the Piltown Electoral Area.

Among them is a new candidate - and the fourth woman elected in Kilkenny so far in these Local Elections - Jenny Catt Slattery (FF) from Mullinavat. The others are sitting councillors Fidelis Doherty (FG) and Ger Frisby (FF), who have both retained their seats by a good margin.

Sitting councillors Pat Dunphy (FG) and Tomás Breathnach (Labour) were both elected on the first count last night

The poll for the five seats in the Piltown LEA, in order: Pat Dunphy (FG), Tomas Breathnach (LAB), Fidelis Doherty (FG), Ger Frisby (FF), and Jenny Catt Slattery (FF).
