Investigation underway following fire at commercial premises in County Kilkenny

An investigation is taking place following a fire yesterday evening at a commercial premises on the Clover Meats site in Ferrybank, County Kilkenny.

Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene and it was subsequently preserved for a technical examination. There were no injuries reported.

The fire comes not long after Clover Meats trustees recently agreed to hand over the building and adjoining grounds to Kilkenny County Council for use by the community.
