Heartbreaking tributes pour in after death of young woman from Kilkenny

Stephanie Hearne passed away on Monday, aged just 36

Heartfelt tributes have poured in following the sad and untimely passing of Stephanie (Steph) Hearne who died on Monday, March 18, aged just 36 years.

Stephanie, from Comeragh View, Mooncoin, Co. Kilkenny, is predeceased by her father Tom.

Stephanie will be sadly missed by her mother Mary (Née Nolan), brothers John, Barry and Brandon, sister Laura, partner Emmy, sisters-in-law Mary and Marie, brother-in-law Nicky, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Those who knew and remembered Stephanie have been leaving condolences on RIP.ie, with one mourner writing,

"My condolences to Stephanie’s family and friends and her beloved partner Emmy, they were the loveliest couple I had the chance to get to know and I will always be grateful Stephanie is part of the reason I have Zeus. May she rest in peace with her daddy and the angels."

Another wrote,

"Mary & family, heartfelt sympathies to you all on the death of your beautiful daughter & sister Stephanie. Thinking of her partner Emmy & all extended family members. You are all in my thoughts & prayers."

While another simply wrote,

"Sincere condolences to Mary, Barry, Emmy and all of the Hearne family on the sad and untimely passing of Stephanie. We are thinking of you all at this difficult time. May Stephanie Rest in Peace."

Funeral Arrangements

Stephanie will be reposing in Power's Funeral Home, Ferrybank, this evening from 6pm until 8pm, Stephanie's removal will take place tomorrow, Friday, March 22, walking from her home to The Church of the Assumption, Mooncoin, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by private cremation.
