Ella McCormack
Young Kilkenny dancer Ella McCormack enjoyed great success at the World Irish Dancing Championships in Killarney over Easter.
She won two world medals in the under-11 grade, including third place in her jig out of a total of 140 competitors.
Ella dances for the Deirdre Maher School of Irish Dancing, who hold their classes in the Watershed in Kilkenny.
Well done Ella. The future is very bright!
There was even more good news from a Kilkenny perspective as Kilkenny dancer Zahra Khodabacksh from Kilkenny became a World Champion at the event.
