A Kilkenny project has been granted a large amount of funding under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund (RRDF).
A total sum of €1,885,138 has been awarded for the South-East Greenway Connectivity Link and Pink Rock Cycle Loop and Amenity Trail.
This project will facilitate the connection from the village of Glenmore to the South-East Greenway, enabling the village to capitalise on its proximity to the greenway.
Fine Gael TD, John Paul Phelan, said that the projects funded by the scheme 'will revitalise town centres, stimulate the rural economy and attract people back to live, work and visit rural areas'.
