Kilkenny County Council give local homeowners important notice

Kilkenny County Council are conducting a review of the Social Housing Support List (Housing List) for 2024.

Existing approved (11 August, 2023) applicants will receive a Summary of Social Housing Assessment (SSHA 2024) form in the coming days. To remain eligible for Social Housing Support, it's crucial to return this form with the required documents within the specified timeframe.

Kilkenny County Council will assess each returned form to confirm the total number of households across the county seeking Social Housing Support & to update the households current circumstances.

Applicants approved after August 11 2023, Transfer applicants, HAP tenants, and RAS tenants are exempt from this assessment. If your circumstances have changed but you didn't receive a form, please submit the change of details to our Housing Department.
Failure to return the completed form by Monday, September 2 2024, will result in the closure of your application and your household will be removed from the Social Housing List.
If any household members have disabilities or medical conditions, please submit a separate HMD, Form1 (Disability and/or Medical Information form), which can be requested by calling 056-7794900.
To ensure your application is included in this assessment, please return your form by post using the provided stamped addressed envelope to the Housing Department.
