Driver clocked doing 98kph in 80 zone
Gardaí have caught a driver in rural Kilkenny driving almost 20kph over the limit.
The driver was clocked doing 98kph in a 80kph zone on the N78 at Muckalee in Ballyfoyle during National Slow Down Day on Monday.
Nationally 665 drivers have been detected speeding on Irish roads. A total of 157,298 vehicles were checked during that time.
In Kilkenny 20 drivers were detected speeding from 7am on Monday to 7am today.
