Kilkenny man, John Murphy (Massford) had his step-down parade in the Curragh earlier this year.

BQMS Murphy, as he is known in the Army (Battalion Quartermaster Sergeant) has served 43 years in the Defence Forces and served 13 overseas. A great day was had by all.
