'Be nice' - Kilkenny gardaí warn pedestrians that conditions remain a 'challange'

An Garda Síochána Kilkenny have advised pedestrians that footpaths still remain slippy.
Sharing a post to Facebook, a spokesperson said: " Spare a thought for pedestrians. Thankfully driving conditions around the city at least have greatly improved, though with huge care needed still.
"The footpaths however remain a massive challenge for pedestrians and their likelihood of slipping off the path is great. Motorists need to be mindful. Reduce speed near pedestrians, expect that they might have to step on to the road.
"Basically be NICE. If you have a neighbour who's frailty mitigates against the conditions, maybe now is a good time to pick up their 'messages."
