A one-on-one meeting at the WorkEqual event at State Street
Forty women took part in a free interactive morning where attendees received one-on-one mentoring, talks and a workshop as part of their ongoing path to employment in Kilkenny on Tuesday.
Supported by State Street foundation, the Irish Public Employment Service and Intreo, the event offered attendees the chance to chat with State Street staff about CVs, employment journeys and interview advice.
They also heard speakers on returning to work after time out, building confidence and addressing imposter syndrome along with the workshop on preparing for employment and interviews in any field.
Attendees were invited to access WorkEqual’s free coaching, mentoring and styling services after the event for as long as the support is needed.
According to WorkEqual, six out of ten women who use their services reach their employment goal which it says is thanks to the knowledge and skill of volunteers from business workplaces across Ireland as well as a network of professional stylists who provide wardrobe solutions and boost confidence.
