'We’re already falling short' is the call from the Good Shepherd in Kilkenny

'We need more homes' - Kilkenny group make plea to government

The Good Shepherd Centre in Kilkenny have released a pointed post to social media, highlighting the need for more housing delivery rather than 'forecasts'.

"Can we build 300,000 homes by 2030? That’s the target, says the Government," they posted.

"But the Central Bank says we’re already falling short, again.

"In Kilkenny, we don’t measure success in forecasts. We measure it in what actually happens on the ground. We need more homes. Now," the post concluded.
