From the Kilkenny People Archives (1952) - Macra na Feirme (the Young Farmers' movement) in Kilkenny held a County Executive General Meeting recently, to discuss the setting up of a proposed artificial insemination centre in Kilkenny.
Kilkenny will be represented by Messrs William Renehan, Kilkenny and Ed Holland, Castlecomer.
Mr. J. J. Mooney addressed the executive on Farm Costings and Accounts at a recent meeting and suggested that Kilkenny should hold a competition in farm accounts.
