Motorists in Kilkenny are being advised of fluctuating fuel supplies across the county, as two filling stations have issued updates following a surge in demand.
Centra Knocktopher has confirmed that it has now received a fresh delivery of diesel and is back in stock.

Meanwhile, Walsh’s filling station in Thomastown also reported running out of diesel amid increased demand. In a message to customers, the business said:
"Due to excessive demand today we have sold through our existing stock of diesel. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

"We expect a return of supply around lunchtime on Friday and envisage steady supply over the weekend. Thank you for your patience.”

The update was issued by Michael and the team at Walsh’s, who reassured customers that normal service should resume shortly.
