A parents worst nightmare has occurred after a couple were told their beautiful little daughter has stage four brain cancer.
In a GoFundMe post that has gone viral, it said that the parents of the young girl, Rayne, had their world turned upside down when she was diagnosed with a brain tumour at just four years old.
"Colm and Jeans beautiful daughter Rayne has always been the light of their lives—bringing laughter, kindness, and joy to everyone who knows her. Recently, their world was shattered when Rayne was diagnosed with stage 4 Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG).
DMG is an aggressive, rare, and fast-growing cancerous brain tumor that forms in the central, "midline" areas of the brain and spinal cord".
In a heartbreaking Facebook post, Rayne's auntie said: "only two weeks ago she was a perfectly happy, healthy little girl — laughing, playing, and filling every room with joy. Then our world was shattered....".

The GoFundMe for Rayne has touched the hearts of thousands of people and donations have poured in from all around the country since it was launched on August 22nd 2025.
The fundraiser has accumulated a whopping €143,919 so far, nearly reaching it's target of €150,000.
All funds will go directly towards funding her costly medical treatment.

In another Facebook post, Rayne's auntie shared a video of Daniel O'Donnell who has shared his best wishes to the little girl and her family.
