A decision is due next week on plans for a new solar farm in North Kilkenny.
Permission is sought by Tirlan Limited for a c.13 hectare solar farm development on a site at Ballyconra, Ballyragget, Kilkenny.
Solar panels on ground-mounted frames are planned over an area of c.6.5 hectares with fencing and a CCTV system.
Also sought is the provision of underground electrical cables to connect the solar development to an existing onsite substation.
A final decision is expected by July 13, 2023.
