Kilkenny firefighters stand up to the mark

A number of students from counties; Kilkenny, Carlow and Kildare have completed Mod one of their Incident Command Course.

This course is designed to give students the necessary skills to co-ordinate and manage their Emergency Response Teams in emergency situations.

Cathaoirleach of Kilkenny County Council, Michael McCarthy and Director of Services with the local authority, Fiona Deegan paid a visit to the training site in Castlecomer where the students and their instructors showcased what they've learned.
