A donation was presented to Cois Nore from one community group

A Castlecomer knitting group has raised an impressive €700 for Cois Nore through the sale of handmade Easter chicks.

Kitty Brennan from the Nattering Knitters Group presented the funds to Cois Nore following the successful fundraising effort in Castlecomer.

The money will go towards supporting the work of Cois Nore, which provides services and support to people affected by cancer in Kilkenny and the surrounding areas.

The group’s fundraising efforts have been warmly acknowledged, with thanks expressed to the Nattering Knitters for their generosity and support.

Earlier today (Thursday), the local cancer charity officially opened their new base on the Waterford Road in Kilkenny City.
