Kilkenny one of several counties where house prices have failed to fall

Kilkenny is one of several counties where house prices have failed to fall between October and December, according to data from the Irish Independent.

Price falls were highest in County Kerry (-2.5%) and County Mayo (-2.6%).

Kilkenny, Carlow, Roscommon, Wicklow and several other counties saw no change in the average price of a house.

The average price of a house in Kilkenny is now estimated to be €262,000.
