Funeral arrangements for 13 year-old Billy Rockett announced

Teenager Billy Rockett, who died following a tragic car accident, will be laid to rest in Kilmacow this weekend. His family have asked mourners to wear bright colours to celebrate their son and brother's life.

Billy Rockett, Miltown, Kilmacow, Co. Kilkenny,  died on Wednesday 21st June, aged 13 years. He is predeceased by his grandparents Pat and Mary Dowling.

Treasured son of Liam and Jo (née Dowling), Billy will be sadly missed by his heartbroken sisters Ellen, Marie and Hannah. He was also the adored grandson of Willie and Helena, nephew of Sean, Patrick, Martin and Donie, Fionnuala, Trish and Georgina, aunts and uncles in law, he will be missed by all his beloved cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Billy will be taken on his final journey with his loving family on Sunday 9th July to St. Senan's Church, Kilmacow (walking from the sports complex at 1.45pm) arriving for Requiem Mass at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Billy's family have asked anyone attending to wear bright colours.
