Brennan's Bar in Johnswell have posted a touching tribute to the late Mary Campion who passed away earlier this week.
"It is with a heavy heart that we let you know of the passing of our dear friend, Mary Campion. Mary was an absolute lady who has been a great friend to us all over the years," a post on the Brennan's Bar social media read.

"She loved her cards on a Sunday evening and was often able to play and referee the game at the same time, especially when order needed to be restored if others played a bad hand! This picture is from Mary’s 80th Birthday in Johnswell in 2022 with Seamus as always by her side.
"We extend our heartfelt condolences to her husband Seamus and the Campion family. We have lost a gem. RIP Mary."
